Full Fibre broadband via the Openreach network is connected over a type of technology called GPON or Gigabit Passive Optical Network. It uses full fibre cable to achieve greater speeds over longer distances. There can be more attenuation on longer lines or overhead cables however typically, gigabit speeds can still be achieved and maintained.
Unlike FTTC (fibre to the Cabinet) long lines and slower speeds are now a thing of the past. With lower latency enabling even better call qualities and gaming experiences, full fibre is a game changer.
Use the internet as you want without watching how much you have left. Our unlimited usage policy is perfect for any size home to fully use and enjoy the internet. We won’t restrict your access so if you have young children, extra parental controls might be needed.
From a network point of view, we always aim to have available capacity, which we monitor around the clock. This slice of capacity which we aim to keep available is used for spikes such as sporting events, snowdays or even the latest iOS release. If we dip into this capacity too often, we schedule more capacity to be added so we’re never short when its needed the most.
Our routers can provide basic network security in the form of network address translation or NAT, effectively blocking any unrequested packets from your network. You can setup port forwarding and use applications to keep alive routes in, for VoIP or gaming.
Its recommended you have a device by device security policy using anti virus and firewalling. We can provide additional hardware firewalls with deep packet inspection for the ultimate security filtering and protection. Speak to one of our team today.
We only buy 100% renewable electricity from wind and solar. We’re also using more solar in-house to power equipment, backup systems and emergency power.
On top of this, we plant sustainable wild flowers alongside grass during reinstatements, use zero to landfill waste and recycle as much as we can, including sending shipments of old hardware to new homes. These are often reused or broken down to be recycled.

We provide help and support between 7am – 11pm – 7 days a week. From speed issues to connection problems, we’re here to help. Typically we’ll ask for all the information about the problem and we might perform tests to check any known issues.
We may schedule a call back with an engineer prior to booking a visit to ensure all potential problems are checked. We can use remote screen sharing to see what your seeing, potentially speeding up the fix.
We provide a status page detailing any known issues which may cause problems access your service with us. It provides vital information when your service suffers an outage whether its due to a fault or a maintenance window and will keep you informed of likely resolution timeframes.

We use Ubiquiti and MikroTik hardware which can handle sustained complex full capacity traffic and are abled to be monitored remotely by our network operations team.
